Just to help you out a bit Brendan.
This is 1975 Californian import originally it was a formula vee beetle,Its left hand drive the car is solid through out just a little surface rust, pillars heater channels and floor original and never welded .It has a 1979 1200cc motor with around 80,000 miles on it, I have been driving it every day for the last 3 years and it runs well ,never has let me down ,the brakes, clutch and shocks are new .Hope I have given enough info. my contact no. is 086 0556388 price 3000 euro o.n.o

Really need to move this car on, I was asking for 3,000 euro but will consider any reasonable offers.
I called into Brendan's the other day on the way home. While there I had a sneaky peaky at his car for sale. I was really surprised with how solid it is. The pics don't do it justice. As a daily driver it's perfect or if you were looking for a project this is the best out there from what I've seen - there is no rot on it at all........it got me thinking of the thousands I've flung at my GT to get it solid, I should have bought something like this :wallbash:
