Hi All,

Looking for your expertise & advice - I'm a bride to be this September and looking for a Cream VW Beetle to transport me & the hubby (to be). We live in Naas & the hotel is 20 mins from church.

There is no company in southern Ireland that supply these - Lazy days only provide a VW Camper Van but not the Beetle. There is one company in NI that have a Beetle but will not travel down this far.

I can understand some one would be reluctant to hand over their car to a stranger but I can assure you that we are a very reliable couple and care of the car would be a priority - we are just looking to make our special day that little bit extra special by having the car of our dreams.

Thanks for your help.

Drove a friend of mine to church last summer for her wedding. Major challenge trying to get dress into beetle & near impossible to get bride & groom into back seat after church...honestly don't think they're suitable

We had a 356 as our wedding day car, even less room in the back of one of those compared to a beetle. Take out the pasenger seat and they'll be plenty of room for bride and dress...as long as the groom can fit behind the drivers seat...

Used my Beetle for 2 weddings to date. No problem at all with space. Both fitted in the back seat fine.

I did a wedding last summer, just took out the passengers seat and a bit of oatmeal carpet to match.

Worked fine, in saying that you wouldn't be able to do much more than hold hands :helpme:

Course, if the dress is too big then it won't matter how many seats you take out...:D

Did ya have a cream beetle when you were doing the wedding? Holding hands would be good enough for me!!

Did not mean to :) I did do a wedding before for friends but made sure they had a backup-car just in case the beetle would break down on the day. September is still far away and as I live all the way south it is difficult to commit to it even if there is a way to be found to get the car closer to Naas for the day.
