The first meeting in the west in two years will be on Saturday the 24th at 12 pm location to be decided, probably somewhere around the N4 in Sligo. So who ever knows Sligo (Hugh) pick a place for the meeting maybe a pub for lunch!

So who's going to attend?

1. Brian Lesley and kids in the beetle

What about Rosses Point (just outside Sligo)? Or Strandhill on the southern side? At least there is the sea (but I wouldn't like to come in very bad weather (pouring rain) anyhow - but mixed windy conditions would be fine for a stroll along the beach). I know there are some pubs/restaurants in both places but I wasn't there for a long time and cannot recommend one. And I don't know if they are open in the middle of the day on the 24th of October.

Wow the weather is mental up here. Still we had enough people for a good meeting ( no pictures, the battery was dead in my camera) We didnt drive out to the coast because of the weather. I used more petrol getting back to Mayo than I did going to Sligo because of the gale force wind blowing.

We had:
1 bay with a radiator on the front of it, Joe and Billy
1 Baja bug Roland
1 Mexican bug '97 Colm and
1 '73 beetle mine.

Thanks to the people who made it out in the bad weather. We will have another meeting in early December probably in Mayo.
