care to share details? i might find myself ( work permitting) at a loose end that day...
I think I was at this show years ago and it was small, yeah. Might be worth a look all the same though.
there's a convoy heading up from Dublin early on the morning, collecting more cars on the way North, Aiming to be there for 11 to get in place before the official start time of 12. I'm bringing the Derby
this is the first year of that show so I don't know what it's going to be like. Ordinarily I wouldn't have made the effort to go but this is my first year owning a roadworthy water-cooled VW (which I'm trying to sell 
) so I'm heading up with a for sale sign in the window. Hopefully it'll attract someone's attention and maybe I can prize some cash from them

ah i wouldn't say that. most of the watercooled VAG enthusiasts actually shun the whole boy racer thing. They'd put as much time and money (more even) into their modern vws/audis etc than we would into our old vws and don't really attract the attention of the fuzz like your average chav in a civic does...
