Camp Out in Camp in Kerry - Oct. 19th, 20th & 21st

looks like this is going to be a good one, and our 1st official trip in the van and mine at a Camp gathering.

@sapsorrow, warm clothes, pennys fleece jammies! hot water bottles nd lots of hot tea!! I really feel the cold and camped in a tent at vantasitval heard it was minus 2 or something(only there one night but that's another story!)
pair of us have asthma so there will be plenty of inhalers around hehe!

That's good to know thanks , I'd say he'll survive. Actually I stopped by Pennies a few days ago and stocked up on some incredibly un-sexy polyester fleece jammies for the weekend!

just picked a fleece blanket in dunnes was 18 euro but toasty warm

i'd say what ever time suites ya most of us will be working friday
i aint leaving dublin till near 5

Great weekend. Lots more made for the Eireball charities last night with the auction and fantastic sunshine in Kerry this morning.

Had a great weekend. Brilliant weather, and there was a great atmosphere. The auction was some top class comedy as well! The van worked brilliantly right up until the very end when I pulled up at the gates into Aoife's place when the head gasket decided to let go! Bollox anyway! Sort of put a damper on things for me. Means I've to fix it for next weekend now! The van was getting a bit hot and bothered on the way home so I left the heaters on full all the way back which kept the temperature down in the safe zone but it obviously wasn't enough. I did pull over when it started getting hot and found that the auxiliary electric water pump wasn't working. I took the pipe off and tried turning the impeller with a screwdriver and got it to turn but it wouldn't spin under its own power so given that I could do nothing about it I just drove on. Anyway.....

just in drove the long way home didn't use any part of motorway
and enjoyed the drive had a great weekend

Ross that's a bit shit but lucky it got you home and didn't calf on the motorway

Had a fab weekend, met some lovely people, and picked up a couple from Switzerland on the beech in Inch! my 1st trip as a co camper owner and first t2 trip! So the van is behaving badly, I hope we can sort it for next weekend, so then the van will have completed to meets.
