back to the land of the living yesterday evening. had a ball as usual at santa pod. thankfully the weather was great, and the crowds were enormous!
there was an announcement on saturday that due to a ticketing malfunction, waaaaaay more camp spaces were booked than were actually available. result was that over 100 campers couldnt get access to the pod. they were accommodated in the surrounding fields, the fields that were reserved usually for day parking for daily visitors. all these campers were guaranteed a full refund, and free entrance. it ment thst we had to park approx 2 miles from the gate, and had to avail of a free shuttle service.... but all minor gripes.
even bumped into keith from cork/isreal and family.....
