You are too tall! I drove the first one of these into Calif. back in 1979 and at 5'8" I was cramped. They put Scirocco or Corrado seats in them which are a bit lower but still you are a bit tall.

I've owned 2 of those and they are great little work horses. Now this one just looks cool, way too nice to toss an engine block in the back. I bet it's a blast to drive also.
it,s a great little driver and the gti lump is sweet but i'm 6ft 2 and a little cramped plus i need something kid can get in my t25 is a panel
and not insured to carry them
