I was thinking of organising another meet/run for March called the Breakfast Roll because we could meet up somewhere for, as you might guess..........breakfast and maybe a cruise
We can hang around chatting afterwards or go for a run. How does Sunday March 7th suit people? Would Portlaoise or Athlone be preferred locations?
I'm hoping the Feb Breakfast Roll will go well and therefore this would stand a fighting chance. It's not meant to be a day long thing as most of you have young families and giving up a day is not too easy so the plan is for a casual early morning meet leaving the rest of the day free to do your own thing. The only reason I am suggesting the midlands is to open it up to more members but if this isn't a runner we can keep it regional which could be every other month going forward. That way you hopefully have the opportunity to get to one in your location or travel a bit to get to a national meet.
Opinions please!
EDIT:
Meeting at Hodson Bay Hotel, Sunday March 7th @ 9:30 'ish' for breakfast. There is an area held for us in the main dining room. There will also be an area for parking overlooking the lake.
Re: the cruise, can someone take look at this as I don't know the area?
