Myself and Eamon headed up to this yesterday. He was racing his beetle so I said I'd come along.
We left Kilkenny about 6:30pm and had whiskeys in hand parked up at the gates of the drag strip about 11:30.
Most of the racers arrived bang on 9am the following morning and the sun was threatening to come out

We gathered with the rest of the aircooled crew and set about prepping the car.
Excellent turnout with approximately 80 cars.
I mainly took pics of the aircooled cars. We had two retirements with Pancho snapping the dowls on his flywheel and Paul (Herbie's son) have the gearbox give in.
Hopefully both will be back in action soon.
Great day all round as a spectator and a nice convoy back down south with Trev joining us.
Another 566km on the clock in my van and it didn't miss a beat.
