Never seen it around before. Txt a mate to see if he knew it and he'd never seen it either. Not many cars in the area get missed by us!!! Family members make it their duty to tell us if they've seen one too. Love the rear brakes

Phoned up today, apparently it did a few shows last year and sounds like lots of people are viewing unless its sales jargon but I didnt think so. English import with a touch of rust in usual places.

Has had offer but until its loaded on trailer he said he will not hold it so no use with my back. I am in no rush for 70's Bug so I will continue to search in background.

That could mean anything from a light sanding of the paint and a touch up to a full body off resto. Probably the latter.

I have yet to see a UK import 1303 in good unrestored condition. I don't think they exist. I'd like to be proven wrong.

Yeah, they're prone to rust alright and on UK salty roads they crumble.
