I checked his history, has had 7 or 8 other splits and bays for sale there between imports and UK regd. There was a guy outside Enniskillen always had loads of South African stuff for sale but I don’t think it’s him.

Edit: actually I looked through the other ads and it could be him, know a guy was down a while back I’ll check with him. Prices all seem similar too.

Not sure if it's this has been linked on here before - looks like an early 36hp (?) industrial engine - he's knocked it down to 150!!

Tinware etc probably worth that these days, but it'd be a shame to bust it apart for bits - surely someone looking for this for ab early beetle resto - not exactly bolt in n go as is, but I'm led to believe they can be de governed etc but I'm far from an expert.

For anyone that knows restoration and all the head aches that go with it, this car is an absolute bargain. Good luck with your sale trev.
if i had money i would but it up in a heart beat.

I have spent about 1500-2k on parts minus all the hours of labour

That’s very like a wee car I looked at in Ballymena around 20 years ago that ended up going south, anyone remember Anthony aka The Dude? it definitely got empis Id thought was an MN reg but maybe not. Looks like it’s been neglected for a long time 😞

I spose the sea air in Achill maybe accelerated it's rust blebs n flattened the paint...
Looks like the owner is trying to do right by the car n shift it on to someone who will tackle the body work etc.

I couldn't resist the joke given the sellers name, but I do use an old hospital trolly to put shells/pans/engines on - I put a thick ply ontop on it.... Use it as a platform working on high roof vans etc
Motorcycle lads have been using them for years - very handy to raise lower/braked wheels etc
Worth grabbing one if you come across one cheap/free - they are so handy to have about....
