Nice looking car. But how would that fair out price wise by the time it got over here. Would the revenue get silly with the charges
I have no idea at all, even though I have asked the question on many forums. Last I heard from the UK it was 23% customs duty plus vat plus possible NoX charges. But I have never been able to find a site to confirm this. What with the revenue charging , basically what ever they like, without any reference to your bill of sale, and using current market selling price, as they see it would scare me.
I would hate the thought of paying the price of a car, on top of what I already paid, to the revenue. But like I said I dont know for sure either way.
Maybe someone who has bought from the UK since brexit can enlighten us.

I have wanted an Ghia or Beetle for years. After much research, I bought a '66 Beetle from Holland. I never once considered buying from the UK. In hindsight, zero regrets.

We gave £450 for this in 02, needed sod all to mot it. Was rock solid, bit rough and ready inside but was a flying machine. Rattle can repaint on rear wing, two new bumpers at £10 each and a good polish, them were the days 
Bro kept it a few years had great craic with it then sold for £8/900. It’s vanished since.
