Yup we did. Lovely cars they were too, especially the coupe. I remember they had some freaky coloured velour interiors too. Great example of how them big stupid federal bumpers spoilt the look of loads of euro cars exported to the US in the '70s/'80s. Chrome wheelarch trim not doing that one any favours either...

the wheel arch trim was standard fitment on the higher spec cars as far as I know (LS, GL)

you're right though, the US-spec bumpers are always too bloody big. The US spec Audi 80 (Fox) bumpers are rank and for some reason, they were fitted to UK market cars too but nowhere else in Europe...
