I just went up to my local Aldi with the brother in law. He picked up a impact gun for €25. I mentioned to him that a compressor is next on my list and he said he'd sell me his own one when he gets another. HAD to pick a gun up too at that price so!!! :D

They also have Cut off tools, air shears ,retractable air line coil, media blast gun and parafin wash gun and 2.5hp 50l compressor.

He's after a second hand 200ltr compressor over the coming weeks once I get his old one so if anyone is selling one please let me know

probably the same gear, but I bought an Aldi Taurus 50l compressor as a secondary compressor. It runs remarkably well with all tools except the impact gun. I don't think it has enough pressure or capacity to drive the gun to tightnen up wheel nuts to finger tight. Forget taking them off. I've tried 2 brand new guns to no avail. Excellent for other stuff though, even managed to spray paint some cupboard doors with it, although it struggles a bit keeping up.

Mechainic on my Dads work bought an impact gun this week from Aldi, it wouldn't loosen nuts so he swapped it, second one didnt work either do he got his money back! He was using a good compressor too.

I picked up the retractable reel, very light plastic hose but it'll be fine for hand tools in the workshop.

I have the compressor awhile and i bought the media/spot blaster awhile ago. But the compressor doesnt run it. I think its for the 3.5HP 100l they also sell theirs a higher CFM on that.

Bought the impact gun , didn't last long......about 1 wheels worth.

Die grinder the same , lasted about 10 mins.

The compressors are good value though and decent enough . Wouldn't bother with anything else again.
In fact the tools are not that cheap any more aldi prices have been creeping up, I got work gloves last year for 2.49 this year they are 5.99 .
