So much put into this resto. over the last couple of years it was supposed to be my keeper. Typing this now feels like taking a family pet to be put down. I have been struggling for days just to put this post up. (I have a feeling I might regret this for a very long time).
'73, LHD, (Dry State) Westy with Type 4 engine. A totally straight bus now with no rust issues. Spotless throughout and no nasty surprises lurking. Long list of work carried out and loads of cash spent on it. Photos & receipts to back this up.
Not likely to suit most people on this community as its not really a project anymore. However if anyone is looking for a bus in great condition or knows a friend looking for one, send me a PM.
I'm not keen on putting it up on DD and similar sites. I will probably put it up for sale whilst attending Volksfest with it in August. After that, who knows, circumstances might change and I'll keep it. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
