again sorry for the delay but finaly heres a picture
i have a few different size caps so you may have to mesure the filler neck

The Size Cap needed is to fit a 2 1/2 ( two and a half ) inch filler neck

I would say that's the right one. The left one is for 1956 - 1960 beetles.
