Someone I know 'may' be making this 412 available for sale and has given me first refusal on a 'how much d'ya reckon she's worth' basis..!!

http://s8.photobucket.com/albums/a37/MarMan/412/?albumview=slideshow

Question is, how much wouldn't she be worth???? Wouldn't want to hang myself by offering something daft..!!

Also, what areas on these should be 'looked at closely'...?

It's in the UK at the moment, so not too easy to get a hands on inspection. He seems like a straight up kinds guy and I've just bought a set of Wolfrace hubs and tyres for my 1302 'project'... (ongoing)... (Long-finger)...! He says his mechanic is also an MOT inspector and reckons the car is pretty much rust free, bar a small area near the rear light.

Any info appreciated and would really appreciate if you could email me at smoredanjusabeetle@yahoo.ie

Ta'
Paul.

I suppose they are rare enough but also I'd say theyre not that sought after either as most people go for, Beetles and Vans, then ghias, even type3's are rare enough! You could use that line, and the fact that its hard to find parts for them these days! I'd be a nice, unusual classic too if you did buy it for the right money!
