Jaysus ive been looking at posts on this site for a few years now but dont post much as my bay has been in the shop gettin sorted all this time...hope if i need advice that people dont look at the amount of posts ive made !!!...love the site by the way and sometimes post on t2i.....but im scared now.....sniff sniff...hope to on the road soon anyway(just as the summer is over) and meeting up with a lot of you guys...take care

Nation don’t be scared off, you’ll get the odd post on any forum with a wee bit of “shouting” on it. But all is good on this site, advise you receive from other members is great, there are at a lot of members with valuable experience and knowledge in the VW scene and are always willing to share. When in need there is always someone on here that will help you out, be it in person or through the site. I have met a lot of members on the site, both male and female at various shows and meets and have found all of them very friendly and a great crack.
Get some pics of your bay up when you have a chance !!
P.S. The only one to look out for is Gritz, as you can see for the posts above, he’s a bit of a bollicks :blink: Personally I think he’s a grumpy old man going through a mid-life crisis, but that's just my opinion...

Natian, I too am new enough to this site, I've been to a couple of shows, met some of the Lads and found them all to be a friendly bunch. The site is great for advise and a bit of crack.
Dont be afraid to ask anything as you'll nearly always get a reply. I think the biggest problem with Froggys first post was that he claimed to be a forum regular even though that was his first post ever and he was the newest member to join:rroulette: .That drove a few people fairly mad.

Thanks everyone.havent been to a meet yet but am thinking of heading to galway on saturday in me normal car.Problem is i havent met anyone from here or t2i yet.Anyone else going that maybe i could meet up with there?..(have to go alone cos if the missus catches me spending money only a couple of weeks before the wedding i will be left at the aisle....so shhh)...Thanks again and i will stick some pics up soon.

I was only joking with the "WTF is this shit?" pic. I couldn't give less of a crap in all honesty. These things happen on forums all the time, and its a mistake to get so hot under the collar about them, because they wouldn't happen in real life, or wouldn't be such a big deal.
