bought these as a project but havent the time to complete them
the irish car has a perfect floor and i was going to convert the california beetle
and will be sold together
they are both 1 year only models
the california beetle has a factory sunroof and pop out side windows
have been dry stored for the last 7 or 8 years
the california beetle does not require any welding to the shell
the irish beetle has a good interior along with everything else you would need to finish the california beetle

the seller, Ken, is a neighbour of mine and a complete gentleman, he's helped me out on more occasions than I care to remember.
He bought these from Rocky, I think the red one is a Roadcow import but I could be mistaken, maybe Rocky could clarify. The red one is unbelievably solid, both doors close perfectly with the push from one finger. If anyone is in the market, you have the makings of a very nice Irish reg '67 or a period-perfect DKP-style 'looker from these two beetles. Rare one-year-only stuff too...

Ken is a sound man, I sold these to him last summer to part fund the T34 ghia, the irish '67 has a nice bit of history & as trev mentioned the US '67 is unbelievable, it came via Britt about two years ago.
