Hello,
So it turns out a big life change means i'll have to buy myself a sensible car meaning this fella is up for sale
Basic specs:
1991 T25 Caravelle GL - converted to camper
White
Rhd
Power steering
2.1 automatic
Watercooled
Tin top
New MOT and tax last week - 2 new front tyres
The good:
New 2.1 engine 2.5 years ago, only done 14,000 miles (not a reconditioned engine)
Gearbox overhaul Dec 07
Automatic is very smooth
Lowered 60mm with adjustable shocks and springs from BRICKWERKS
Converted by previous owner with 3/4 r’n’r bed( seat belts), fridge (with ice box, works on gas and electric), cupboards, sink (with pumped tap), grill, gas hob etc
Leisure battery
New clear front indicators (not yet fitted)
Bad boy spoiler thingy on teh headlights
Square headlights
Faux Leather bound cupboards and door cards (new, 2 years ago)
All curtains and rails to match door cards
The shiney metallic thermal window thingys from JK - never out of box
Hook up with several 240 outlets inside also powers individual cupboard lights "so no searching for a torch"
Captain seats (passenger on a swivel plate)
Gold carpet in front (I pulled it all out and had it cleaned, then bought the genuine rubber walk-through mat to help protect it). Also when I lifted and cleaned the carpets, there was no rust in cab floor!
Genuine 17” Porsche Boxster alloys - a few scuffs
original VW 5-piece under spoiler at front
new pads/discs on front 09
new shoes/drums on rear 09
Replacement rear hub 2010
I have old V5s, MOT slips etc – tons of paper work
JustKampers slot installed in floor of rear for table (actual table not made up yet, I haven’t got round to it but have the table top etc for this!)
2 sunroofs
Towing hitch
Wolfsburg window winders
Pioneer speakers in rear
New sliding door (replaced 2 years ago)
Roof gutters look like a new vehicle
Running gear is all good or replaced with new
Giant bumpers in painted in grey with black stripe - side panels are original VW
Central locking in front doors – stopped working in drivers side, think I need to replace the spring in the actuator
Spare central locking actuator and contact plate for adding the sliding door to the central locking
Immobilser linked to the key fob
Good radio/CD player and I bought ipod connector and fixed it so comes up through the dash
I have receipts for all the work done!
I can throw in some spares too like wheel bearings etc
