I was going to do a body swap on this as it's a rare Anniversary Beetle complete with dash plaque but since I managed to find another one in better condition I'm letting this one go.
It's a chassis and parts donor as the body is veeeeeeeeeeeery rough but it's worth saving as these 70's special editions are going up in value. I missed out on a body last year for €150 which would have been perfect for this.

So what's it got?
  • Heated rear window
  • Good upholstery - 1 rip on bottom of drivers seat
  • Hard to get rubber floor mats in great shape
  • Carpets are good but need a serious cleaning
  • tow bar......you can't have an Irish car without d'auld drawbar :D
  • 5x ratty rims & hubcaps.........those crazy kids love their ratlook!
  • 1300cc engine - 105k miles - believed to be a runner
  • Very rare dash plaque, denoting this car as the 20,008,561 VW to be made
  • Irish registered car - Waterford reg - no taxbook but chassis number is clear as is the engine number so no bother getting a replacement book
  • Original key
  • Locking fuel filler cap with original key
  • Gaping hole in the wheel well
  • Lots of rust
  • Would make a cool rat drag car ;)
  • Tombstone lights with rare reverse light option
  • Intermittent wipers.......in a Beetle? How posh!
  • All switches and electrics in place
  • Starter motor, wiper motor etc
  • 1300 gearbox
  • Full set of glass

Price is €400 no offers.
