really can't be gotten? Do you know the length of it?

It might be the same as a mk1 Golf or one of the spare B1 Audi ones I have. I can post it to you if it suits.

I didn't think it was that hard to get them.Goes to show how exclusive the 03's are,Take note non believers..:p
I think Trev is correct thoughThe early Mk1 should fit....I emphasis SHOULD..but I'm fairly certain I read that somewhere before.

I wasn't exactly in a fit state to drive after I got hit by the merc so the beetle was recovered by the gardai and brought there.

I'm still looking for a wiper arm if anyone has one.

you mustn't want it that badly!!

If you get me a measurement of what it's supposed to be and which way the bend on the end goes I might be able to check if anything I have suits or can be shortened to suit.

that bloke is probably just buying cheap long wiper arms "off the shelf" and shortening them to the length required and flogging them. If Ross gets a measurement it's something I'm sure I could do for him or he could do himself at the aeroplane garage. It's just a matter of grinding off a couple of rivets, cutting to length, drilling new rivet holes, re-rivetting or welding together again.

I think this is your lucky day Ross. I was hunting in the loft for a few B2 bits for a fella and I stumbled across this. I bought it way back for the B1 Audi but never used it, the original arms were just fine. It's a NOS universal replacement arm for all sorts of '70s VAG cars so I'm sure it'll suit your 1303. It's length adjustable and can be made to work for LHD or RHD wipers by flipping over the arm and refitting it. The plastic end clips on regardless of which side you have it fitted.
