[Wanted: Parts] 1303 front window wanted

Hi all, I'm in the process of restoring my beetle (well Lorcan is) Im looking for a front window for a 1303 if anyone has one for sale.

I don't have one, sorry Sam but just before you end up with the wrong piece of glass, is the Karmann cabrio 1303 screen the same as the tin top 1303 windscreen?

Im 99% sure they're the same. Never heard or read anything to say differently.

is there a code or stamp to tell the 1303 windscreen apart from regular beetles.

you'd know a 1303 screen from across the yard! It's huge and curved. Regular '70s beetles have much smaller screens and they're almost flat.

What trev said, the 1303 window has a big curve so very distinctive. I dont think there is a difference Trev with the tin top and cabrio.

have what i think is a 1303 windscreen. big curve measures 445mm in height.

Donnie's window doesn't fit. Its 491 mm height by 1143mm length. I think ill get Ross to check his window and see if its the same

Trev you are correct. Cabrio window and beetle window are 2 different sizes!!!!!
