We normally look back with nostalgia 👀 the 80s had a lot to answer for! I still like to see stuff like this at shows as all part of Beetle history. Guy up here has an immaculate red one in that style.

We gave £450 for this in 02, needed sod all to mot it. Was rock solid, bit rough and ready inside but was a flying machine. Rattle can repaint on rear wing, two new bumpers at £10 each and a good polish, them were the days 😂 Bro kept it a few years had great craic with it then sold for £8/900...

My head is still maybe in the late 1990s but I still look at the price as having one digit too many!
