Ehhh, yeah, I'm gonna need to go ahead and replace this...
It got ripped off cause it was only held on with some shite adhesive and I think I'll replace it with a stock steel front bumper. Anyone got a straight one with end caps? A bit of corrosion I don't mind but no dents or bends.
I love the way it says Super Soft in the background!
Here, considering the weekend that was in it, here's a very quick mock-up of something more fitting. Maybe someone handy at photoshop could do it properly...
One of the joys of living at home with the folks is the fact that there is 2 sheds, both full of shite and nowhere for me to store my tools. I am looking for an alternative solution, and was thinking along the lines of one of those big Jobox things that you see on the backs of lorries, but...
I have a set that I bought back when I was building my engine thinking they'd do the job but the linkages are set up in such a way that they interlock side by side so can't really be operated on either sides of the engine without some complicated modifications (or if you have a set of...
I'm looking for a small cheap compressor just to run some basic pneumatic tools. Not looking to do any spray painting with it. Something around 50l and 2.5hp would do me fine and I'd be happy to spend up to €120. Lidl have one coming up for sale soon but it's €200, which is out of my budget...
Had a brilliant time today. I was glad I took the spin over to it. The van behaved itself most of the way but protested at the concept of being raced around a go-kart track! Here's a few pics Aoife took.
Anyone got a silencer for a diesel T25 with the flange type fitment rather than the slide on fitment?
I have a slide on fitment silencer already but the downpipe that's on the turbo I got (which I am not even going to attempt to remove) has the flange fitting. If I can't get one I'll do a bit...
Priced to sell... Never understand why people put that in their ads!
Still though, if it is only surface rust as your man says and it runs, it could be a nice cheap early T25 for someone and they're getting rare now!
Anyone got one that's in good condition? Your man who said he had a recon one thinks he might have sold the last one a couple of weeks ago. If anyone has one that's ready to bolt on so much the better!
I was briefly talking to a lad in work whos brother has a couple of T25s in need of repairs that he's trying to get rid of. One's an 83 one with no engine, and one's an 89 one with a petrol engine. The late one has crash damage and sounds like it needs a good bit of work. Might be of interest to...
Anyone got an auxiliary electric water pump knocking around that they're not using? This is the one in a T25 that goes on the engine bulkhead with the 2 smaller hoses attached to it.
