I,ve held off on answering my pm,s on this until I had a closer look at the gearbox, and took a few pics. Unfortunately I cant in all good concience sell this due to small corrosion at the nose cone/elector end of the gearbox. Meaning this would have to be replaced. It wasn,t clearly evident...

Early 60,s gearbox for sale, or scrapping . I know nothing about this gearbox, but the original owner was an elderly chap who says it worked grand. But I cant confirm that for sure. Visually it looks ok, and hubs and shaft move freely. I cant tell you any more. Its a gamble, but its only 50...

Can anyone point me in the direction to get a 6mm aluminium plate cut out on a cnc. Its basic enough, its a mounting plate for a set of small servo,s for an anamatronics project. So if you can please put me on the right track. Thanks Tim

Probably a long shot, but any any type3 owners in a previous life have any front beam clamps and rubbers lying around, I,d be interested in buying them. Thanks tim

Inner and outer right hand side only. I dont believe that early and late sills are the same, but you can fit anything to anything if you are good enough. Lots of interest on these at this stage

NOS early fastback cill panels, one inner, one outer. Some surface rust, 250 euros. Decklid from 65 beetle , excellent condition, ready for primer. 150 euros.

If you know of a supplier for heater channels and floor pans for a fastback, could you point me in that direction. As Status Vw has now been bought by Justcampers, it appears that no type 3 channels or floor pans are on their stocklist , even though status had them for sale on their original...

The rest of the party can use this:D In all fairness I ccouldn,t imagine any one letting their pride and joy be self driven for a wedding party, but good luck with the search. You cant really replace any splitscreen with money in the event of a mishap.

Do you need to have an insurance on another car , or be named on one , to avail of this classic policy.
