one new tyre, one good tyre, two tyres balder than myself. No buckles or cracks in the wheels but all have some kerb rash. Would do nicely as garage wheels or with a bit of elbow grease could be tidied up.
will swap for a known working genuine Solex 34PICT3 carb from a 1600 beetle/bus or...
just a box of odds and ends I don't need since I don't own a type25 any more. The ignition setup was tested and is working. No wiring loom for it though.
offers on individual items welcomed or I'd swap the lot for a known working genuine Solex 34PICT3 carb for a 1600 beetle/bus.
Does anyone here drive a late '90s Audi A4? Need any spares to keep it on the road? I have the bones of an A4 to be weighed in next week but if anyone wants anything off it that I haven't already removed for myself, say the word and I'll keep them aside for you.
Or if anyone wants the front...
I know it's short notice but just in case anyone is at a loose end next Saturday morning, 18th January, I'll be in the Midway carpark just off J17 of the M7 at Portlaoise at 10AM. Cuppa coffee, some breakfast if you haven't eaten already, then maybe a short spin up the hills or dales around...
anyone got any idea where I'd get a UK/Ireland keyboard for a Dell Inspiron 1501? Mine has loose/wobbly keys, missing keys etc. Some of the little hinges in the vowel keys have come loose and I've swapped the hinges from the obscure keys like that stupid one to the left of the #1 key and the...

I know it's a long shot but you'd never know what people have around the back of their houses ;)
I'm looking for a '98/'99/'00 Passat or Audi A4 TDI donor car. I'm holding out for a 110BHP "AFN" engine code model. It has to have a manual transmission too, no autos considered. I need one as a...
I bought this late B4 Passat saloon a few weeks ago before I got my B2. The plan was to put the 90BHP 1Z TDI engine in whatever car I got. After getting the B2, I now realise that I would be better off getting a B5 Passat instead of the B4 as the donor. So it's for sale.
After dragging it home...
Tony's gonna flip out: I'm on the hunt for a B2 Passat estate.
I know, I know, they have a face only a mother could love and even then only while squinting but still, I'm in the mood for one.
It HAS to be an estate, it HAS to be 1983 or older and it HAS to be rust free or 99.99% rust free...
time for a more specific "pic of the day" thread.
I'll start for all those guys who think they're DHF'ers in their beetles ;)
you're not DHF'ers. This guy is:
these are parts left over after I made one engine out of two recently. I was going to hang onto them as spares but it would just be more clutter being hoarded for a rainy day that will probably never come...
thermostat €40 (these are STG£70 from Heritage, believe it or not!)
crank pulley €15...
VWHeritage have them new for STG£79.
I have a good used one for just €40.
Either a direct replacement for one on a type4 engine or a nice cooling upgrade for a (drag racing perhaps ;) ) doghouse type1 engine with a little fettling of the doghouse tin...
