Im looking for an engine lid for my '69 bay. Current one looks like rusty shredded wheat! Also looking for rear brakes backing plates.

Try Jon White in VW Spares, up near Carlow. Got one off him a few weeks back, his price list is on vwspares.ie
i have an engine cover, has the 4 vents in it. will be in portloaise some day this week if you want it.
I think John made a mistake. The engine lid he is talking about is the one he has from the Beetle he scrapped recently and not a Bay Window Bus.
hi nugent, yeh coxy is right, i didn't read your post right, the one i have is off a beetle. never saw the '69 bay. i must have been asleep, you know, monday morning job.
Bump. Still lookin. Whats the situation with late bay engine lids? Some sort of hinge modification to get it to fit?
