Hi Taff, a friend of mine has a herbie replica for sale, beautiful car, lots of money and time spent to make it look as good as possible. New engine, new interior, wheels, mot'd and tax exempt. The owner has used for numerous weddings including mine 8) I think he's looking 3k. Hasn't advertised yet but will be soon.

Any how, is that a northern motor, I am near certain I have seen it before in a wedding convoy. Thought it looked well back then.
Does your mate also have a stretched Beetle, and a bus for his weddings possibly a topless beetle too?
takes about a day to get used to and after that the only problems you'll have will be the toll booth on the motorway and McDonald's drive through!! I wouldn't let LHD stand in the way of buying a good beetle...
That's a great car with the steering wheel on the proper side.

lol, the wife was always winding me up that it would break down on the wedding day but sang like a sewing machine the whole way, we had to pose for that wee photo for above the fireplace. He doesnt own those other cars the limo and vert, but another mutual friend, Mike Barr of star car hire owns those and has hired Gareths beetle on a number of occasions. His car was used for the premiere in belfast of the herbie reloaded and another opening in scotland, and dozens of weddings. He's had the car for 14 years garaged every single night of those 14 years. Rock solid, motd and taxed, and the only reason hes even contemplating letting it go as hes found an original 63 herbie replica, alot more money but hes thinking of treating himself.
