Sorry for partial thread hijack!

Will you have the bike in action at Vantastival?

I was thinking of a DIY radioflyer style trolly towed by BMX with large beer cooler would be the way forward!
thinking of bringing it along alright, or maybe a minimoto for the craic

If your not to fussy you'll get something to get you started on adverts for 30-50quid

here's something:

I had a BMX when I was a kid, a Raleigh something or other, I can't remember, it had blue tyres, bought it with my Communion money. I was Evel Kneivel. Nuff said. I probably weighed 5 stone soaking wet at the time.

I went to college and bought another cheapie BMX for punting around on. I was slimmer than I am now, I probably weighed 12 stone or so. It broke. I bent the crank coming off some sweet jumps.

I'm now a little more portly, a shade under 14 stone. Would I not completely mangle a BMX if I used one now?

have a slightly relevant video for your troubles:

Looks like a 48spoke rim with a 10mm axle, any bike shop will get you one, again you get a tyre an tube you could be up to €50 or 60 so you might want to look out for a cheap/chucked out bmx with a decent rear wheel an brake if you dont want to get in too deep moneywise!

I picked this up at European Bug In last year and have been restoring it, leaving it in OG paint and patina though as its a 'survivor'!

As I got it..

Love the collection of oil cans and the messenger bikes, bit of an obsession with messenger bikes around here too ... has the 'Knightlys' bike got a family link or did you add the sign-writing?

Hope to get down this summer to collect the raleigh grifters if you still have them

Bad picture of another Pratts can ...

Wow, that Murray is proper vintage! The freestyler takes me back, I wad thinking the Stolen looked a bit fresh, I picked up a new Haro today for racing, it's properly addictive.

Collection is in the North but has probably had more none Raleighs added since.

Apparently there's an Oldschool Bmx meet in Pheonix park every year, there's a lot of oldschool stuff for sale on adverts.ie
