Wanted: Beetle seats

ross was it difficult to make up the brackets ? im in the process of looking for new seats and have my eye on ones of a 944

nice one, they look right at home, the later mexi beetles came with similar Polo-style seats rather than the early beetle type seats...

I didnt actually do the welding myself. I got it done in Jon White's place. Handier for me cause I'd have had to get them to Wexford and buy a welding mask and some kit and wire in a 16a socket in the barn down there and learn to use the arc welder I have on them. I never would have gotten around to it. Its a bit of a faff to get it right and sliding smooth but with a bit of patience it can be done.

Well as I said, that plastic part is broken on the drivers seat. Youre welcome to take a look though.
