That's the 'real' SVDA, but the term is now used to describe any single vac, dual advance dissy.

That says maybe but [you gotta stand trial because all the while I can see for miles and miles] Bosch don't make a single vacuum dual advance do they??? I though you got a vacuum or a mechanical advance from Bosch and if you wanted both in one compact unit you went to Aircooled.

I bought one of those Bosch Mexico SVDA distributors last year from CIP1 (I think) and a new 34 PICT 3 carb from ebay.de .

best thing I ever did for my bug's engine, I blame the 009 for all my tuning/flatspot troubles prior to this but the original carb was 34 years old at that stage too so it got the bin...
