Wanted Polo wheels and tires

Just borrowed some for the Polo to pass MOT but thought if anybody had a cheap set that would work I could get them at the AGM.

try the local scrap yard near home, don't pay any more than €10/£10 each. If it's anything like my local scrappy they'll have a "simpsons-esqe" tyre mountain of wheels with tyres removed from crashed cars. Find four matching wheels with good tyres and you're sorted. That's what I did to get the Corolla through the NCT

I'd thought about that and will have a look. That reminds me to be nice to my local breakers, seems a lad had removed a windscreen and took it up to him with a " how much for this"? 30 pounds came the reply, "30 pounds!" that's robbery! OK out came the hammer and the windscreen was smashed. Moral, don't mess with the local breaker man.

Hey Roadcow, my dads friend owns a scrap yard here in Dublin.
I can give him a ring and see if he has any? and bring them to the agm?
