Hi lads i know its a long shot but i'm looking for a set of dropped spindles for my 65 beetle. Its a king and link set up with drums. If i can't find any that someone is trying to getting rid of then i was thinking of buying a set off Vw Heritage. Anyone ever buy a set off them or would you have any other recommendations? :blink:

I bought a set on thesamba ready to bolt on, all the work done, worth a look to see if anyone still does that.

From memory the whole lot was $400 - spindles, carriers, new K&L pins fitted and shipping with USPS.

The guys in Socal are charging $365 for the assembled dropped spindles for local pickup is this a rip off? It sounds pretty expensive?? I'm beginning to think i should just get the parts and have them assembled by someone here..
I don't know anything about Bug dropped spindles, but know that there is a press involved in pushing old out and installing new, but I've been on the road so sorry for the late email. I fly into Dublin and arrive early on Tuesday and could meet you quickly as I have to catch the Bus to Belfast. I bring them in my luggage and need to know the weight, I have 45 lbs. x 2 suitcases and do need to bring over presents and some clothes.
