[Wanted: Parts] vw beetle over fueling

Hi all im new here just looking for a little help.
Ive a old bettle but is cutting out on idle,its seems to be over fueling.
Car will idle ok for a bit then fuel is getting dumped down carb then flooding.
Ive had carb off a few times checking flot and niddle all looks ok.
ive adjusted flot so carb bowl only get half full still dumps fuel down venture afer a few mins.
Can anyone Help....

Is it flowing out through the vent pipe at the top of the throat? If so, change the float needle valve, they're only a few quid. Get a new copper washer for it too. Should be an easy fix if that's all it is
