I'm in the Uk next weekend, was thinking of going to Stanford Hall, has anyone ever been to this show of know if its worth while?

Was there last year, some beautiful aircooled vws there from the 40s to the last mexibugs. Cars are judged in several different classes. Some watercooled ones there too. Great show if you are into original cars and buses. Nice setting too but might be a bit awkard to get to if you didnt have a car. Its about 40 miles from bermingham airport. Been to volksworld twice but would rate this show as the best.

Unfortunately the trip to the UK did not work out so didn't get to Stanford Hall, went to book the ferries early last week to discover that the price had doubled from the previous week.
