Anyone who is working for the man after the last budget is being seriously thick. The only way to go is to be self employed and to make your own way in life. Everything you buy in the course of running your business (such as petrol, fuch alloys, and an EMPI cup holder) are tax deductable. There is no danger of you ending up on the dole - you make your own money and some months are tougher than others, but you never have nada. It is the way forward. There is one downside and that is trying constantly to sell your wares (ahem) but it is a minor price to pay for freedom. The biggest problem people having starting their business is that they don't know how to get started or what to do. That is why I have teamed up with a company formations office to come up with what I reckon is Irelands first all-in business startup package. http://tinyurl.com/o99fta - you will be in business 14 days from now.

I am currently trying to get in business for myself before the inevitable summer slump so if anyone refers business to me for the above deal I am paying a €100 referral fee. Couldn't be easier - someone calls me and says "vdubber sent me" and when they pay me I pay vdubber. I don't care if ye tell the taxman or not.
