For those not attending Action!

The annual show that's the biggest in Ireland with over 1200 vehicles on display and normally a club stand of 30-40 dubs
Kilbroney park is in Rostrevor, about 10 minutes outside Newry.

Forms are available NOW from www.aovc.co.uk or you can enter online.
The entry fee is £6 if you enter before 11th July. After that entry is £10 and think on the day £15

Only cars reg'd 1984 or earlier can enter.

Remember to put down to be on Northern Beetle Stand!

I'll go - it's a great test run for the van before taking it to the UK for Vanfest.

Happy days, remember to enter early if you can and put down to be on Northern Beetle Stand, as the size of stand we get depends on amount of cars entered for it so we like to try and get all the dubbers together

KILBRONEY SHOW CANCELLED
Due to the prolonged adverse weather the Kilbroney Committee inspected
Kilbroney Park this afternoon and sadly had to make the decision to CANCEL
this years event.
The next Kilbroney Show will be held NEXT YEAR on Saturday 6th
September.
It is a mammoth task notifying all the 970 people who have entered so far plus
all the Traders and Autojumblers. Please can you circulate the news as widely
as possible among any of your friends and fellow club members who were
intending taking part or just attending as spectators.
NO CHEQUES have been cashed and will be disposed of securely.
All those who have paid by Credit Card will receive a full refund in due course.
Anyone who paid by either Cash or Postal Orders should send an email to
kilbroney@aovc.co.uk giving their name/address and vehicle details so a full
refund can be organised for them.

I noticed this too and contacted them lastnight. Apparantly a lot of folk contacted them and said to keep the money so they kept all cheques and you'll not have to pay an entry fee next year........I think. It all goes to charity, but I'm sure like me most peopel will think something is up! Might have been a better idea to send out letter then take ££

They are to send a letter out to explain this soon.

Got a letter today from them - automatic free entry to the show for us net year

the money goes to charity anyway - this year or next year - tis all the same 8)
