There is a Vintage run for a fund raiser for two local (Kerry ) children who are suffering from a very rare disease (Battens Disease) on Saturday 8 May.This is (like many others) is a very worthy cause. You might have seen them on The Late Late Show recently. The run is in part of a wider fund raising scheme in varous other venues.
Registeration at The Anvil Bar , Boolteens, on the Castlemain - Inch road from 11 o'clock) and onwards to Inch, Annascaul, Dingle , Ventry, Slea Head, Dingle, Conor Pass, Camp, and back across the mountain (yes, that mountain, to Boolteens again. A beautiful trip calling to Paudie O'Sheas in Ventry for "tea and thing" as well. Recommended entrance fee 20 Euro .
So if anybody is interested, start up the Old Ladies and give them a gallop.See you there.
