Looking for an IRS gearbox and ideally all the paraphernalia that goes with it to mount it to chassis
i.e. gearbox, drive shafts, a-arms, spring plates etc.

was somebody on here offering 944 trailing arms a little while back?

sounds good John, PM on the details if you get a chance and I'll look to go about collecting it

@Trev, any chance you still have those 944 trailing arms knocking about?

I have a selection of stuff. No box though. I don't think the 944 aluminium arms I have would position the wheels under Ghia rear arches though, they're the late turbo arms and quite wide. I have beetle arms, single spring plates, dual spring plates, torsion bars, covers etc. I'd have to check if I have drive shafts though.

Good stuff, that'd be great if you could have a gander. No panic on the 944 arms so, thought they might have been the earlier ones which are probably much the same as the beetle ones anyhow (or are they stronger?). Shame the alu ones add to the track, they'd be a nice upgrade if they fitted under the stock body work...

yes, going to attempt this on the Ghia. I'm looking at a nice clean chassis with the body off at the moment so probably no better time to do it. Have you done it in the past?
I'm doing it right now with my 66 Ghia. I found a pair of the jigs which bolt to the torsion covers to hold the IRSbrackets in place. I'll post some pictures today as I progress.
