Enterprise racing dinghy

Here is your chance to own a great racing sail boat. This particular boat has won many races in the hands of its previous owner.

I bought this boat with the idea in mind to give her a lick of varnish and learn to sail in her, but between time constraints and so on, I never got the chance.

She's been sitting in a dry shed for the past 2 years covered up. Shes all there, and just needs someone who knows a thing or two about sailing to rig her up and have some fun with her.

Mast, boom, mainsail and jib are all perfect. She's completely solid on a great roadworthy launching trailer, and even includes a trailerboard. The road wheels are also new.

What needs to be done? Spend a weekend applying a few coats of two-pack varnish on the top of the deck, and source a new rudder. Then she's ready to sail!

Also, the blue tarpaulin cover has a tear in it which could be sewn up by a sailmaker, and the tyres on the launching trolley are flat, so would probably need new tubes.

She's a beautiful boat with great potential, so make an offer on her and take her home.

I'm looking for around €1000 for her.

SOLD!

Still up on ebay but its met its reserve so if you want to buy it, you'll have to stick a bid on it now. There's still nearly a week left on the auction though.

I don't actually sail, Ruairi! I tried it when I was younger and enjoyed it and I bought the boat off my friend when he was moving house with the intention of getting back into it, but between one thing and another I never got the chance to use it. Likewise, I didnt know you were into sailing!

Yeah it looked well attached to the back of my syncro when I was bringing it to Wexford. It was a shame to have it sitting in the barn for so long too, so hopefully the new owner has some fun with it.
