anyone got an aftermarket fuel pump that's surplus to requirements? Doesn't have to be particularly high-pressure or anything, just a basic lift-pump.

I had one of those Facet solid-state fuel pumps on my Westy back when it was petrol engined and bar some teething issues, once it was sorted it was trouble free. I'd like to see if one would be any good at priming my diesel filter when I switch the ignition on in the Jetta.

Could you just park on a downward gradient and let gravity do the work..............?

No need to thank me Trev............... :D
