That'll be fine. I just realised I could do with an inlet manifold for a 1600 bay engine, if you have one. I'm ok with the end connections down to the heads. Twin port type.

Thanks baz. Chat you soon.

John.

john i left an old fanhousing with flaps and operating arm and a 1600 inlet manifold at jon whites place yesterday, you can collect them there or else pete will be swinging by to pick up some bits for me in the next week or so and he could take them to athlone if that suits better

Hi Baz,

That's handy. I'll contact Joh White and let him know that I'll be down this coming week to collect the parts.
Will you pm Baz, and let me know how much I'll owe you.
Thanks a million.
John.

no payment needed john, the parts were sitting in shed for years and would have been dumped anyways

Thanks a mill Baz.

The parts will do grand for my rebuild or the 1600 engine. Some while back, I bought a block and crankshaft from you, over at trev's, and got the crankshaft dressed with caddy, and he put an external oil flow system on it as well. I bought new piston and barrels, new fuel pump, new distributor, new exhaust, near new heads, new push rod tubes, recon. alternator. So I'll have a new engine as a standby for the camper or the 74 beetle.

My new year's present. Again, thanks baz. And a happy new year to you and all belonging to you.

John.
