Hi I met some of u chaps down at mondelo vee festival this year and learned that the club had done 'circle yer wagens ' on the I o m.
(I was down in the orange and white tintop bay)
Just wondered if the club is doing the trip again 2013 ?

I am also a keen tt fan and heard that the circle event is just before the tt. It would be nice to be able to do circle and then stay on for some of the tt practice week (my favorite bit of the tt)

Wondered if that was possible?

Welcome to the club Humbug. I had planned to do "Circle yer Wagons" this year but something's come up. Although a few members here go most of the organisation happens over on www.type2ireland.com Alot of people here are on both sites.
Missed Mondello Vee festival myself this year as I was at Eirespares in Monard, so hows about a few pics of your van?

Thanks Chaps I am mistaken and now that u mention it I do remember someone at mondello telling me it was the type2ireland chaps that orangised the 'circle' trip. Might have been Richard Wheatley (and family who restored a very nice light grey Poptop Bay "Meg")

Anyway here's some pics of the Buzle

thanks Monkley that's some bay you have there too. Just clicked on the restoration thread, what a clean van. I really miss having mine on the road (moth balled and sorn'ed (statutory off Road Notification) cos the tax is over 200 feckin pounds (double that for euros 'only joking' ) . The Buzle will be 40 in may you'd think Osbourn or his ginger goblin sidekick would have a bit of sense but no young and dumb and full of dung, so 6 months is all I can afford.

Occasionally go in the garage and cuddle it when I need a bit of cheering up, that's all mind.

Thanks rez I have a soft spot for that sage green and white. probably my favorite Vw colour. That's the colour of the van I went to see before I met the buzle. only it was listed as taiga green and after looking it up apparently sage and taiga are the same colour. L63h.

we have a lofoten green 75 1303. close to sage green and great for sneakin up on the Sheep

Cheers. Yeah unfortunetly my beast is parked up for the winter too. I'm having some braking issues and I'm waiting till I can afford the parts.
Based over in England at the minute and its looking like i'll be registering the van over here (eventually) so not looking forward to taxing it or testing it.
