This workshop is open to all members who arrive in a VW Van - T1, T2, or T25 (petrol or diesel), T4, T5.

If you are going to Vanfest next week or if you just need a good excuse to service your van then this is the day to do it. We have enough indoor room for 4 or 5 vans at a time and there will be plenty of expertise and tools on hand. This is not a guided workshop - this is members mucking in and helping each other out.

For aircooled vans there will be someone on hand to take you through a full service from tappets to timing and everything in between. For watercooled vans we will at least get you through an oil change and basic service.

This workshop is on at Mad Max Industries near Ballinasloe. Ballinasloe is almost in the centre of Ireland and is easily reachable from Galway, Limerick, Sligo, Roscommon, and less than 2 hours from Dublin with all but the last 20 miles by dual carriageway. See the map link on the main events page for the exact location.

Tea/Coffee and a light lunch will be provided. For insurance reasons this workshop is strictly members only.

Good dude - we need someone of your experience to fix our mistakes :)

I mean to say also - anyone who wants is welcome to stay the night - very limited bed space, but a huge garden for camping and there is even a blue socket electrical hookup available.

Mad Max industries has gone bankrupt with the loss of no jobs and not much else either. Anyone else want to host this?

Wexford would be a good location as we are going from Rosslare (hint hint Dustpuppy :D)
