if you're up for a straight axle conversion then yeah, the lot will help. It's only a 1200 gearbox so won't set the world alight in terms of high speeds. Great acceleration though and bound to be better than the reduction boxes. I think you'd need some kind of adapter to fit the bus spring plates to the beetle axle tubes.

one person has enquired about it by PM but is seeing if they can organise a trailer so nothing agreed as of yet.

tbh i am acting the tyre kicker ,i dont want to take the van off the road just yet and i am stuck for storage.if some one will use the chassis then they should ,but if its going to waste ill take it and butcher it for parts for my drive train conversion
