moved your post to a new topic for ya.

some more info would be useful like price condition, location, age etc.

They're getting to the age where you can get vintage insurance on the oldest ones.

Stick up a few photos too

Seems fair if it is in excellent condition. I've been watching these for ages and there used to be up to 40 for sale at any time on DD with many in under €2k, but those numbers have dropped dramatically and the prices have risen again. Great reg too.

Bad time to sell though, as distance is an issue at the moment.

No Title

I owned this one (very briefly - PO put the "RS" badges on it BTW  ).

Looked great and had an absolute fortune spent on it in Audi Cork but was still in pile of shite. :ROFLMAO:

The person I bought it off did a proper bodge instead of a simple repair and fucked it up. I didn't spot the problem until much later.

What was the problem Justin?

I can't remember exactly but the wastegate actuator diaphragm was torn so it couldn't control boost properly and was boosting too high and dropping again quickly. To "fix" this he diverted the N75 back on itself and let the turbo try to manage boost by magic (it was kind of working just with very low boost). Drove OK, no codes...
I didn't know about this until I put the N75 back into operation but the damage was done by then and it turned out to be using more oil than petrol. A new turbo/seals might have fixed it, I don't know...
Had a recent repaint too, but the front bumper was so full of filler and mesh I think a plasterer did it.
There must have been close to 10k in that car when I bought it.

There are a few bits and bobs done with mine also but has been done correctly , n249 has been deleted and diverted , have boost gauge vac gauge battery gauge , lost some small amount of boost when I switched to a straight through exhaust and popped an engine light which sparked bank 2 o2 sensor , my guess is that the fumes are flying past it so fast that it can’t read it properly and throwing an error , I am to put stock exhaust on it again this week and chop the straight one into tiny pieces . Hks diverter valve , cone filter all those kind of extras , turns heads everywhere I go , shushushushu gear change we all love

I'll pass on the info to my mate ...he said he was looking for either a TT or s corrado - both seem to be on the up /appreciating in value ...
...I've had a short drive in another mate's TT awhile back and as I'm 6'4 I just couldn't fit in it to drive any more than a short trip...
