Anyone got an RHS 1303 headlamp?

My reflector is all corroded and manky looking. In the next while Im going to be working on the look of my car. I painted my tailpipes and air filter today, but that headlamp looks awful and it doesnt relect out the light well at all. So I'd like to get either just the reflector bowl or complete light fitting, with the reflector in good condition. Can anyone help?

get down to GSF and splash out the €15 or so on a new one. Failing that, try a mk1 Golf H4 headlamp. Bay window ones are the same, in fact, there's a lot of interchangeability between those plain round lamps. I had a pair from a Toyota liteace in my bug which I think are in Darragh's split now.

incidentally, I have mk2 golf lamps in my bug at the moment but they took a small bit of modifying to get them in. They're the "crystal clear" ones, with a patterned reflector and a clear lens. Might look cool on your bug with the weird aftermarket tail lamps No, seriously, they'd look good against the silver paintwork

Ah well if they're only 15 quid, I'll do that so! I must keep an eye out for those crystal clear lights. They would look nice on my car alright.

I got separate reflectors for my Bay. Pain in the ass to get then in but they worked out fine. Got them from VWHeritage

I looked on GSFs website. Its around £10 for an entire headlamp unit, so with bureau de GSF, that should work out at about €30 from them.

I paid a lot more for a Hella lamp for the MkII Golf.
