[For Sale: Car] 74 Bug

Hello
I am selling my 74 Bug as I no longer have room for it. Running but needs work. I havent it taxed or insuranced so its just sitting there. 1600 engine.
Car is in fair - good condition. The floor was replaced on it over a year ago. Its a good looking car and if fixed up would be fantastic. Selling as is.

Do you have a price in mind (just to get that out of the way now)?

no reasonable offer refused as it does need work. Its on done deal for €2000. I need the space for my 66 so would like to sell.

What work does it need?

some bodywork where rust is beginning to take such as under the doors, the heater channels need looking at but I dont think they need to be replaced, electrics tidied and the alternator needs looking at as not holding charge. Also the usual scratches on paintwork.
If you have the time and knowhow (which I dont) then maybe a easier project.

looks clean,was it a uk import?
i passed it on a recovery truck headin towards galway from gort,when i was blowin dust off the single cab.

originally a manchester car but brought to Ireland by owner several years ago. Its in original condition but converted to 12v. I doubt it was this car you saw as I have had it for over 2years now. Im moving away from the "upgraded" vehicles as Im getting more interested in the original versions of the vw.
