Well the time has come to sell my wife’s bus. As stated it is 1973 tin top US import original paint. Walk through,3/4 rock and roll bed, fridge, gas rings. full interior basically. 3/4 length roof rack. Been In Ireland for almost 5 years now.
1.7l pancake engine. Rebuilt by Mr Crazy 5 years ago. She runs great new ICT carbs last summer. New clutch this summer. This bus is ready to jump in and go camping. Make a great surf bus. She is rock solid, the bus that is, not the wife. There is 1 small hole in the rear corner which I would fix except I dont want to mess with the original paint. I have the corner that will go with the bus.
I will get some proper pictures over the weekend. The bus is driven pretty much daily. If you are looking for a shiny bus this is not for you as it is original paint,with some great patina but there is no hidden surprises. I have replaced all the delux window rubbers except 2 which I have but like all these things it is on the long finder.
